14 Hour Crisis Management and Human Behavior (Including Ro-Ro)

This course is designed for masters, chief mates, chief engineer officers, second engineer officers and persons assigned immediate responsibility for embarking and disembarking passengers, for loading, discharging or securing cargo or for closing hull openings.

In addition to the material covered in the 8-hour Crisis Management course, this course covers:

  • Passenger Safety
  • Cargo Safety
  • Hull Integrity Training

The Scuttlebutt:

Any applicant who has successfully completed our14-hour Crisis Management & Human Behavior course will satisfy the Crisis Management & Human Behavior training requirements of Table V/2 and Paragraph 5 of Sections A-V/2 and A-V/3 of the STCW Code for Ro-Ro Passenger Ships and Passenger Ships Other Than Ro-Ro Passenger Ships; AND the Passenger Safety, Cargo Safety and Hull Integrity training requirements of Paragraph 4 of Section A-V/2 of the STCW Code for Ro-Ro Passenger Ships; AND the Passenger Safety training requirements for paragraph 4 of Section A-V/3 of the STCW Code for Passenger Ships Other Than Ro-Ro Passenger Ships.
