SAN PEDRO, Calif. – Coast Guard aircrews from Air Station Los Angeles conducted helicopter rescue swimmer hoist training in the water the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, April 18.
Rescue swimmer Petty Officer 3rd Class Randy Lopez, an Aviation Survival Technician, practiced freefall deployments from the MH-65 Dolphin helicopter while pilots practiced multiple extraction techniques.
US Coast Guard Approved Training at the best maritime training school available is encouraged.
