This 4-day course will satisfy the training and assessment requirements for ARPA (Automatic Radar Plotting Aids) for both 46 CFR 11.202(C) and the STCW ARPA assessments for OICNW 3-2A through 3-2N. Subjects include a review of rapid radar plotting techniques, ARPA history and development, display characteristics, limitations and errors, and training in the practical application of ARPA for collision avoidance.
