Compass Courses passion is to provide current and future seafarers with the knowledge, understanding and proficiencies they require to be successful and safe through quality training on a reliable schedule.
CLASSROOM
Most of our courses are taught at our state of the art facility in Edmonds boasting ample parking, hotels and resturants near, a student galley and amazing instructors.
GRAVITY DAVIT
With an onsite gravity davit and access to the Port of Edmonds waterways, all of your training needs are met at the Compass Courses state of the art facility.
POOL
When it comes time to test your skills, the Compass Courses Bus will take you to the pool where you will don immersion suits and test your skills in the liferafts.
17 YEARS
We've been training like we gave a damn for the the last 17 years! Located in Edmonds, Washington (only 20 minutes from Downtown Seattle) Compass Courses Maritime Training provides the most needed training for mariners on a frequent and consistent schedule. Our facilities include multiple classrooms, our own full-size lifeboat and gravity davit and a TRANSAS simulator system for Radar training (RFPNW). Compass Courses has ample parking, and we are located near multiple transportation centers. We are walking distance from the Amtrak / Sounder train station, Washington State Ferries, and Community Transit bus line.
