RFPNW stands for Ratings Forming Part of a Navigational Watch.
Do I need RFPNW?
If you plan to be part of a navigational watch on a seagoing ship of 500 gross tonnage (GT) or more you will need RFPNW. To get your RFPNW rating you must demonstrate the competence (1) steer the ship and comply with helm orders; (2) keep a proper look out; (3) contribute to a safe watch; Our RFPNW (Lookout Dutles Only) will help you on that path.
